At the playground (y'know)

Playing in the sprinkler.

Mom and Dad got Ella a sprinkler to play in over at there house, so when we were over the other night, I took her swimsuit along so she could give it a try.

Since she was a little unsure at first, Pop took her through a few times.

Then she started getting a little braver.

And wetter.

After awhile, she didn't even want to go in, even though she was freezing (and had to pee!).

Fun times :)

Ella-isms

This kid of ours come up with some doozies some times.

In Ella-speak, we have:

-buckleseat (seatbelt)
-shiny (bright, usually referring to the sun)
-crunchies (chips at a mexican restaurant)
-OJ Lance Rock (DJ Lance Rock, the human on Yo Gabba Gabba)

And sometimes, she provides us with words of wisdom.

Tonight, she advised that one should never, ever put the popcorn in your toes. Last week, she let me know that you should never, ever put the toothbrush in your nose.
