Christmas tree -- upright and decorated!

We'd actually put the tree itself up last weekend, but for several reasons, we didn't wind up getting it decorated until this past Friday night. In some ways, I think that was a good thing, because it gave Ella time to get used to this odd new addition to the living room. She hasn't really messed with it at all, which I find amazing. We did leave the bottom quarter or so of the tree ornament-free, just in case there should be any temptations, though.

I am not putting any presents under there until Santa comes to visit, however. I don't think those would prove quite as easy to resist.
