Jon and I went out to dinner at Village Tavern tonight. We had a coupon for free dessert, and that's always going to win :)
Anyway, I ordered a chicken sandwich that came w/fries. While we were waiting for our food, the waitress brought a little ramekin over to me and said, "Here's your french fry sauce."
When she was gone, I asked Jon, "Did she just say 'french fry sauce'?"
He thought that's what she said as well. It looked just like, and in fact turned out to be, nothing more than ketchup.
Is this a new thing? Or am I out of the loop with the french fry sauce?
